Crab-eating Experience in Singapore

One of the things that Singapore is famous for is their Chilli Crab. Ergo, on a Sunday night we went for it and dined at Jumbo Seafood Gallery which was just a walking distance from the Peninsula Excelsior Hotel . The restaurant has a great location by the river. It was packed with people but the ambience was relaxed but bit standard . The service was lame and slow , but over all the food was good and the chili crab was delish and really really spicy! What can we say about Jumbo Resto ? A bit pricey but its chili crab lives up to its reputation !

An Enticing Presentaiton of Geoduck Clam Sashimi
Geoduck is not a duck. It is a salt water clam. In Chinese it is called 'elephant trunk clam’ as it has a long and chunky siphon, which looks just like an elephant trunk. It can be enjoyed as thinly sliced sashimi. They are naturally sweet. The texture is a little similar to squid sashimi but a little more chewy.
